Enterprise & Data Technology builds and advances the technology that underpins our enterprise and data capabilities. What will you do as a Programme Manager?
This role supports our Enterprise and Data Technology (EDT) division within Technology Group with a focus on managing multiple strategic projects to collectively achieve the objective of delivering meaningful and impactful business benefits to GIC
- Analyse and understand the how various projects fit into EDT’s roadmap and their inter-dependencies to be able to proactively identify potential issues and opportunities of reducing delivery complexity and risk.
- Proactively engage key senior business stakeholders to stay aligned on business objectives, and work closely with Engineering, Product and Project teams on delivery.
- Create relevant project milestones as checkpoints to stay aligned to business objectives, and resolve conflicts among projects on resourcing, timeline, priority, or stakeholder impact by understanding root cause, propose solution analysis and options, and resolve issues with right decision maker or forum.
- Constantly review and optimize overall delivery across multiple strategic initiatives by reprioritisation, resequencing, and reposition individual projects to ensure the department stay agile and focused on maximizing business benefits to GIC at enterprise level.
- Work closely with Director’s Office on change management
What makes you a successful candidate?
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or equivalent experience
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in IT project / program management, business analysis, project delivery and/or product management
- Demonstrated experience in leading complex projects and implementing enterprise-level software solutions
- Strong understanding of budgeting and business planning
- Good team player who is keen to learn, independent, and possesses strong analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Strong communicator with the ability to iterate through the requirements in phases, ensuring alignment with business sponsors, stakeholders, and department objectives
