The Human Resource & Organization Department champions the people agenda for GIC. We invest in talent and organization development, to maximize potential of our people for long term sustainable performance. We are organized by strategic HR domains and work in partnership with business groups to manage talent and build impactful teams. Our HR domains are: Rewards and Engagement, Talent & Organization, GIC School, Talent Acquisition, Graduate Recruitment, HR Business Partnership, and HR Operations & Solutions.
We are looking for a suitable candidate to join our Talent Acquisition Team as an VP. You will be part of the team responsible for fulfilling our business talent needs as a Talent Acquisition Specialist.
Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, act a trusted talent advisor to both candidates and hiring managers.
- Act as a Talent Acquisition Business Partner for a select business unit(s), partnering closely with the relevant HRBP to drive a direct hiring strategy.
- Directly source and convert potential candidates using various online channels. Foster long-term relationships with prior applicants and potential candidates.
- Plan the interview and selection procedure, conduct assessments and make recommendations to hiring managers. Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using our Applicant Tracking System.
- Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements.
- Leverage internal resources and collaborate with cross-functional partner teams in HR (Employer Branding, Compensation etc) to position GIC as a employer of choice.
Requirements
- A degree in any discipline, with at least 10 years of relevant work experience within Talent Acquisition, either within the financial services or technology sectors.
- Experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) (eg SuccessFactors)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity and professionalism in all aspects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders from different backgrounds.
- Strong organizational skills as well as strong analytical skills, attention to detail and an ability to leverage data to see trends and build compelling narratives.
